About this photograph

A wide aerial panorama brings together the Central Beach of Sozopol, the marina and the red-tiled roofs of the Old Town. Lines of waves move steadily into the curved bay, while the peninsula extends between the sheltered harbour and the open Black Sea. In the distance, St. Ivan Island completes the view and adds another layer to the coastal landscape.
