Behind the camera

Landscape photography begins with time, weather, and a willingness to wait.

I am Hristo Bakrachev, a landscape, aerial, night-sky, and travel photographer. I am drawn to places transformed by cloud, tide, season, and the brief light at the edge of day. The camera gives me a reason to arrive early, stay late, and notice what would otherwise pass unseen.

My photography portfolio brings together journeys through mountains, islands, forests, villages, and open coastlines — from quiet sunrises and wild waterfalls to aerial landscapes and the Milky Way. Each photograph is an attempt to preserve not only how a place looked, but how it felt to stand there.
