About this photograph

I photographed this sunrise from the cliffs of Tyulenovo, close to the well-known natural rock arch. Samotnika Rock rises alone from the sea, separated from the rugged coastline behind it. The sun remained hidden beyond the edge of the frame, but its soft light spread across the water and revealed the textures of the weathered limestone cliffs.
