About this photograph

A wind turbine rises beneath a sky filled with circular star trails near Bolata and the Kaliakra coast. Prolonged night photography transforms the movement of the stars into concentric lines centred above the turbine, while red aviation lights mark the surrounding wind farm along the horizon. The composition brings together the still structure of the tower, the unseen movement of the wind and the apparent rotation of the night sky.
