About this photograph

The morning at Ponta do Rosto began with strong wind, fast-moving clouds and a brief burst of warm light over the cliffs. I placed the figure in the yellow jacket near the edge of the frame to show the scale of Madeira’s eastern coastline and the steep drop towards the Atlantic.
