About this photograph

This photograph shows the view towards Smolyan from Red Rock. The town stretches along the valley below, surrounded by green slopes and layer after layer of forested Rhodope ridges. I included the rocky viewpoint and the people standing on its edge to show the scale of the place. Seen from a distance, the cliff rises sharply above the forest, while the town and the mountains open far beyond it.
