About this photograph

I photographed this sunset in 2021 from the rocky shore near Marina Dinevi in Sveti Vlas, looking along the bay towards Sunny Beach. As the daylight faded, the first lights appeared along the coast and reflected in the calm sea. The long exposure softened the movement of the water around the dark rocks, while the remaining sunset colours filled the sky and the surface of the bay. The contrast between the natural shoreline and the illuminated resort in the distance was what made me stop at this particular viewpoint.
