About this photograph

Only a short time before the sun appeared, Palikari looked completely different. The rocks remained in deep shadow, the sea carried the cool tones of the cloudy morning and only a thin band of warm light along the horizon hinted at what was coming. After waking to rain before dawn, this was the first sign that the trip to the coast might still give us the conditions we had hoped for.
