About this photograph

I photographed this sunrise from the rocky shore below Sozopol’s Old Town. The sun appeared beside the houses at the end of the headland, sending its first rays across the calm sea. I used a vertical composition to follow the coastline from the rocks in the foreground to the warm light above the water.
