About this photograph

Heart was the final waterfall I photographed during my hike through the Canyon of Waterfalls. Here, the water spreads across the dark rock before continuing past the wooden footbridge among the trees. The waterfall takes its name from a shape resembling a heart, created by the flowing water and the rock beneath it. It does not appear immediately, but with a little imagination the outline begins to emerge.
