About this photograph

I photographed Samodivsko Praskalo after following the forest path that branches away from the Struilitsa–Kaleto–Lakata eco-trail near Devin. The water descends over the dark rock face before continuing through a series of smaller cascades between the boulders. I used a vertical composition to follow the entire flow, from the upper waterfall to the water passing through the foreground.
