About this photograph

I photographed this sunset overlooking the coast at Dyrhólaey in South Iceland. The low sun appeared just above the headland and its natural sea arch, while the last light followed the curve of the waves along the black beach below. The scattered rock formations in the ocean completed the view across this rugged volcanic coastline.
