About this photograph

The Cascades was the first larger waterfall I reached along the Canyon of Waterfalls trail near Smolyan. I learned its name from one of the signs beside the path. Of the separate falls in this group, this one seemed the largest and most open to view, which also made it the most interesting to photograph. The water spreads across the sloping rock before continuing down the Gerzovska River through the forest of the Soskovcheto Reserve.
