About this photograph

For this second view of Dalvík Harbour, I chose a wider composition that opens towards the mountains beyond the water. The boats remain on one side of the frame, leaving enough space for the reflections of the sky and snowy ridges. On a calm day like this, the harbour feels like a natural meeting point between the fishing town, the fjord and the mountains of North Iceland.
