About this photograph

At sunset, the stone path from Pico do Areeiro follows the narrow ridge into warm light and drifting clouds. Hikers appear briefly between the rocks, while the surrounding peaks fade in and out of the mist. This was one of those mornings when the view changed completely within a few minutes.
