About this photograph

I photographed Momin Skok Waterfall at the end of the Emen eco-trail, where the Negovanka River drops between the steep walls of the canyon into a wide green pool. The exposed tree roots along the shore immediately caught my attention and became the foreground of the photograph. Behind them, the smooth water and the narrow waterfall contrast with the rough, layered rocks that enclose this quiet part of Emen Canyon.
