About this photograph

I photographed this forest cascade along the eco-trail “Under the Waterfall’s Spray” near Teteven. It is not the main Skoka Waterfall at the end of the route, but one of the smaller cascades formed by the Koznitsa River along the way. The water divides into several streams as it passes between the large moss-covered rocks. I stopped here because the different levels of the cascade, the fresh green forest and the soft light created a complete scene of their own, well before reaching the final waterfall.
