About this photograph

I photographed this view of Baccoleno at sunset from the hillside above the farm. The winding road, lined with tall cypress trees, leads across the rolling fields towards the old stone buildings. Red wildflowers filled the foreground, while the last warm light moved across the green hills of the Crete Senesi and picked out their gentle curves.
